Guwahati: Ahead of the swearing-in ceremony, Assam’s new chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma visited three historic temples in the state.
On Monday, the newly elected Chief Minister of the state visited Ishwar Hati Satra in Sualkuchi, Dol Govinda Mandir in North Guwahati and Kamakhya Temple in Nilachal hills in Guwahati and offered prayers.

The swearing-in ceremony is will be held at the city’s Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra from 11.30 am onwards.
The final ministerial list of the new Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma’s mini-cabinet is reportedly finalized; however, no official announcement has been made in this regard as of now.
As per sources, Ranjeet Dass, Atul Bora Urkhao Gwra Brahma, Parimal Suklabaidya, Chadramohan Patowary, Keshab Mahanta, Ranuj Pegu, Sanjay Kishan, Jogen Mohan, Ajanta Neog, Ashok Singhal, Pijush Hazarika, Bimal Bora are likely to be sworn-in as the new cabinet ministers.
BJP top leaders Baijayant Panda, BL Santosh were reported to be present at the swearing ceremony.
The VVIP guests who are likely to participate in the swearing-in ceremony on Monday are BJP national president JP Nadda, Union Minister Jitendra Singh, Arunachal Chief Minister Pema Khandu, Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Dev, Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma, Meghalaya in-charge of BJP, Dr Chuba Ao and Arunachal Pradesh Deputy CM Chowna Mein.
