    Assam’s Tunlai Narzary Bags Gold In Shot-Put At Tatyana Kolpakova Athletics Meet

    After sprinter Hima Das recent back-to-back three gold medals, now, a shot-put player from Western Assam’s Kokrajhar district brought laurels to the state by clinching gold in the 22nd Tatyana Kolpakova Memorial International Athletics Meet at Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

    Tunlai Narzary, who is also working in 10th Assam Police Battalion, recorded 13.83 meter in women’s shot-put in the aforesaid athletics meet.

    Narzary hails from Ghilaguri Dotma Village in Western Assam’s Kokrajhar district.

    At least 11 nations participated in the meet.
