    Ayodhya Verdict: #hindumuslimbhaibhai Trends On Twitter

    Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi is heading the five-member Constitution bench that concluded hearing the case on October 16th, 2019

    Ahead of the verdict in the politically sensitive Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid land dispute case, #hindumuslimbhaibhai started trending as one of the top India trends on Twitter with over10,000 tweets till 10 am.

    The Uttar Pradesh government has suspended internet in some places to check rumours on social media. Over 600 people on social media are being monitored, as per media reports. The authorities said all social media platforms will be monitored to counter attempts to vitiate the atmosphere by spreading rumours or inflammatory contents. Arrangements have also been made to ensure the safety and security of religious places across the country.

    Security has been tightened across the country. Heavy bandobast has been put in place in Uttar Pradesh in wake of the verdict. The Supreme Court is expected to pronounce its judgment in Ayodhya’s Ram Janmbhoomi-Babri Masjid title suit at 10:30 am on November 9th, 2019.

    Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi is heading the five-member Constitution bench that concluded hearing the case on October 16th, 2019. The other members of the bench are Justices SA Bobde, DY Chandrachud, Ashok Bhushan and SA Nazeer.

    On November 8th, 2019, Prime Minister Modi said the Supreme Court verdict on Ayodhya will not be a matter of victory or loss for anyone.
