    B Borooah Cancer Institute In Guwahati To Remain Closed Till May 10

    The decision came following the death of a girl who tested positive for novel coronavirus

    The B Borooah Cancer Institute (BBCI) in Guwahati to remain closed for new patients until May 10th, 2020.

    The entry and exit of patients and workers have been barred until May 10th, 2020.

    The decision came following the death of a 16-year-old girl who tested positive for novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

    The girl is said to be the granddaughter of a cleaner at the BBCI.

    The deceased girl used to stay in Harijan Colony inside the hospital campus with her mother, aunt and 60-year-old grandmother.

    The family has been put under quarantine. As per reports, the girl’s family sell eggs and water inside the campus.

    Swab samples of the girl’s family members have been collected.
