Guwahati: In a major breakthrough, Assam police on Saturday arrested a Bangladeshi cattle smuggler in Morigaon. The arrested person was identified as Nuruz Zaman.

According to reports, smuggler Zaman was arrested for smuggling cattle with forged international passports.

The police also seized a huge amount of Indian currency notes from his possession.

It is also learned that Zaman had also procured an Indian SIM card using forged documents and a fake identity and had entered India on a Tourist Visa.
