Guwahati: Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal while addressing a rally in South Abhyapuri in favor of the BJP alliance Punendra Banikya, said that the BJP led government in the state taking the blessings of all sections of the people, adopted a policy for the equal development of all districts of the state.

Speaking on the occasion, Sonowal said that immediately after coming to power in 2014, the BJP government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, took a universal policy of Sabka Saath, Sabka Bikash and Sabka Biswas.

Sonowal said that the Congress, AIUDF and Left parties are hellbent in terming the BJP a communal party. However, during the regime of the BJP led government, no clashes in the name of caste, creed, ethnicity and religion was reported from any part of the state.
