    BJP Leader Attacked By Miscreants In Goalpara

    A five-member gang of miscreants came in a Bolero car and attacked the BJP leader

    Hiranya Pathori, a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) was attacked by unidentified miscreants on November 3rd, 2019.

    The BJP leader, Hiranya Pathari was attacked at Bhimajuli under the Agia Police Station of Goalpara. The incident took place while Pathari was on his way to Lakhipur to visit the bereaved family of Sashi Bhushan Prasad Singh, father of Officer on Special Duty to the Chief Minister.

    “A five-member gang of miscreants came in a Bolero car and attacked me. They also tried to drag me inside the vehicle. I immediately raised a hue and cry and called for help and a few passersby gathered at the spot. It was then when the gang fled from the spot,” Pathari said while talking to Time8.

    Meanwhile, Pathari has lodged an FIR at the Agia Police Station.

    It may be mentioned here that Pathari who was earlier a Satra Mukti Sangram Samiti leader joined BJP this year.
