Guwahati: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president JP Nadda will visit Assam and Tripura on Monday.
According to reports, Nadda will also hold a meeting with party officials in Agartala to decide on strategies regarding the Tripura parliamentary elections.
A press conference will be held in the presence of the national president at the BJP state office in Agartala.
Nadda will also attend a Janjati Jansabha at Khwumiung, Agartala thereafter.
At around 4.30 pm JP Nadda will arrive in Guwahati. He will inaugurate the BJP North East Office building in the city.
Ahead of the inauguration programme, the national BJP chief will visit the ancient Maa Kamakhya Temple at Nilachal Hills.
He will also attend a party meeting at the ITA Machkhowa in Guwahati at around 6.25 pm.
