BJP Releases Candidates’ List For Assembly Elections in Arunachal, Sikkim

The central election committee of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on March 21st, 2019 declared the candidates’ list for the upcoming Assembly elections in Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim which will coincide with the Lok Sabha polls. The party is also expected to release today the first list of candidates for the general elections.

The CEC declared the names of six candidates in its second list of Arunachal Pradesh and 12 names in the first list of the Sikkim legislative assembly elections.

In Arunachal Pradesh Tenzin Norbu Thongdok will contest from Kalaktang constituency while Kripa Babu from Itanagar, Tana Hali Tara from Doimukh, Bamang Felix from Nyapin, Thaji Gichak Kiogi from Tali and Anong Perme from Mariyang Geku.

On the other hand, in Sikkim assembly election Bhanu Bhakta Sharma will contest from Gyalshing Barnyak while Sancho Lepcha   from Rinchenpong, RT Lepcha from Daramding, Bhola Chauhan from Melli, SB Karki from Khandong-Singtam, Birendra Poudyali from West Pendam, Bharat Dulal from Rehnock, Mohan Gurung from Chujachen, Devi Basnett from Namcheybung, Jigdal Bhutia from Martam-Rumtek, DB Chauhan from Arithang and YT Lepcha from Gangtok.
