    Blood donation camp by Marwari Yuva Manch to be held in city

    Marwari Yuva Manch, Guwahati branch with Rotaract club of Guwahati Luit is organizing a blood donation campaign in Marwari Hospital on Sunday

    GUWAHATI: Marwari Yuva Manch, Guwahati Branch and Rotaract Club of Guwahati Luit is organizing a blood donation drive at Marwari Hospital on Sunday.

    With the theme, “Blood is the most precious gift that anyone can give to another person – the gift of life. A decision to donate your blood can save a life, or even three”, this particular group has been organizing such campaign since it was established in 1977.

    Priyak Jalan, the Blood Convener of Marwari Yuva Manch, Guwahati Branch appealed the people in Guwahati to take part in the campaign and donate blood to save lives.

    “We cater hundreds of patient and needy patients every month. And tomorrow is the first day of this campaign for the month of September. It will run for the whole month of September”, said Jalan speaking to TIME8.

    “The Marwari Hospital is managing the whole camp under COVID-19 protocol” added the convener.

    With a message, “Cause of the society, by the society”, the Marwari Yuva Manch, Guwahati Branch is encouraging people for the good cause. People donating blood would also receive a gift hamper from Keventer.
