Bollywood superstar Kangana Ranaut, who is basking in the success of her film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, is known for her outspoken nature and bold statements on nepotism in the film industry.
The actor recently slammed her fraternity for not supporting her during her film Manikarnika and saying that “the whole of Bollywood is ganging up against her”. After veteran actor Anupam Kher, who lauded her courage and called her “the real example of women empowerment”, it is now Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu who took to Twitter and appreciate the actor for taking the lead.
In one of her interviews, Kangana spoke about how it is high time that the famous people opened up about the problems the common man faces. Khandu shared one such video and lauded the actor for her honesty. “Ms Kangana Ranaut Ji has rightly defined what it means being successful. Being successful means to shoulder social responsibilities, to take the role as a leader,” Khandu tweeted.

Kangana was recently quoted as saying that as “artists people should have some social responsibility concerning the issues of the common man so that it could be heard in the public and addressed”.
The film Manikarnika is based on the warrior queen of the kingdom of Jhansi, Lakshmibai, who defied the East India Company forces during 1857’s rebellion and fought until her last breath.
