Bollywood singer Vinod Rathod’s Assam concert cancelled amid Covid-19

Guwahati: Amid the rising COVID-19 surge in the state, the South Kamrup Champu Para Youth Association on Friday has decided to cancel Bollywood singer Vinod Rathod’s concert.

The concert was scheduled to be held on January 16, 2022.

Addressing the media, the members of South Kamrup Champu Para Youth Association said, “Due to the rising cases of COVID-19, our organization has decided to postpone the event for the time being. Bollywood singer Vinod Rathod was supposed to perform in the event, the deal was confirmed as well, but, the current situation has forced us to take this decision.”

Earlier, in a video, Bollywood singer Vinod Rathore said, “Hello friends, this is Vinod Rathod and I am going to come on January 16, 2022, to Assam’s Champu para in South Kamrup. I will be joined by a very talented singer Chandni Mukherjee at the event. So friends, be there for the show.”
