Guwahati: A powerful bomb blast at a Mardrassa in Pakistan’s northern city of Peshawar on Tuesday killed at least seven people, including children and wounded 70 others, reports said.
The bombing happened while a cleric was delivering a lecture about the teachings of Islam at the main hall of the Jamia Zubairia madrassa.
Initial investigation suggests that the bomb went off minutes after someone left a bag at the madrassa.
It is known that the blast left seven dead and 70 other wounded, many with burns suffered in the blast.
Several wounded were in critical conditions, the hospital authorities feared the death toll would climb further.
The latest attack comes two days after a bombing in the south-western city of Quetta killed three people
