2.34 Lakh Students To Appear For HS Exam From Feb 12

The Higher Secondary (HS) or Class 12 examination conducted by the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC), will be held from February 12th to March 14th, 2020.

This year, a total of 2,34,809 students will appear for the HS course final examination. A total of 1,175,175 students in Arts stream, 40,588 in Science stream and 18,178 in Commerce stream will appear for the Class 12 Board examinations.

On the other hand, a total of 868 students will appear in the Vocational stream. A total of 772 examination centres have been set up this year. A total of 20 venue centres have been set up for students staying in remote areas.

The practical examination will be held from January 18th-30th, 2020. The examination will start from 9 am and the afternoon shift will start from 1:30 pm.

The High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA), started from February 10th.
