    Breaking: 3 Assam Police Personnel Arrested On Charges Of Looting Mizoram Woman

    Guwahati: The Dispur police on July 26th, 2019 arrested two police officials of the Hatigaon Police Station and a home guard for allegedly looting a woman from Mizoram in the wee hours of July 26th, 2019.

    The three of them Sub-Inspectors(SI)– Jon Pathari, Pranjal Bora and Home Guard from Dispur PS Bipul Hazarika were arrested today based on a complaint lodged by a Mizoram woman for allegedly looting her to the tune of Rs 20 lakh.

    The woman claimed that the three police personnel ‘forcefully’ took away the said amount near Hotel Taj Vivanta in Guwahati city.

    On the other, the woman has been alleged of backing an inter-state counterfeit currency notes racket and circulating them in Assam. Her Innova vehicle has been seized by the police.
