    Dacoits Kill Woman, Loot House In Tezpur

    A group of dacoits killed a woman and decamped with cash and jewellery worth lakhs in Assam’s Tezpur.

    The incident occurred at around 4:30 am on January 1st, 2020. The deceased has been identified as 25-year-old Rupa Devi.

    According to the locals, the dacoits attacked Rupa with a sharp weapon on her neck. Due to excessive blood loss, she died before she could be rushed to the hospital.

    Rupa’s husband Ajay Pandit too was severely attacked by the dacoits. The couple has a three-year-old daughter.
