    BREAKING: ECI DG to visit poll-bound Assam on Jan 11-12

    A review meeting will be conducted at a five star hotel here on January 12

    GUWAHATI: Dharmendra Sharma, director general, Election Commission of India( ECI ) will be visiting Assam on January 11-12 along with other officers. He will hold review meetings on preparedness for forthcoming general elections to Assam Legislative Assembly with the district election officials, superintendents of police of 20 election districts on January 11.

    Another review meeting will be conducted at a five star hotel here on January 12.

    The director-general, ECI will also meet the chief secretary, Assam and other senior officers of state government for discussion on preparedness for forthcoming general elections to Assam on January 12.
