    Handcuffed Man Escapes Police Custody In Assam’s Bilasipara

    A man, who had been arrested in a bike theft case and was handcuffed, fled from Salkocha Police Outpost in Bilasipara, Dhubri district on January 29th, 2020.

    The accused has been identified as Akibul Islam. He was nabbed by the locals in New Hatipota Bazar.

    The locals alleged he was trying to flee after lifting a Pulsar Bike from the New Hatipota Bazar when the passerby detained him and later handed over to police.

    A massive manhunt has been launched to track down the accused.
