    Harmeet Singh Is New ADGP (Border). Check Full List

    The Assam government made yet another major reshuffle in the state police department on December 31st, 2019. Altogether six top officials were transferred.

    IPS Harmeet Singh who was substantively posted as Additional Director General of Police(Vigilance & Corruption) has been posted as Additional Director General of Police(Border). He will continue to function as Additional Director General of Police(Security, M&L and Admin) until further orders.

    IPS Anurag Tankha, Inspector General of Police(MPC), Assam and Inspector General of Police(Vigilance & Anti Corruption & CM’s Special Vigilance Cell) has been posted as Additional Director General of Police(Vigilance & Anti-Corruption) with effect from the date of taking overcharge.
