Over 50 people fell sick after having ‘prasad’ at a puja at Sualkuchi in Kamrup on December 31st,2019.

The locals said that the villagers took ‘prasad’ served after the puja in a temple located at Madhabpur and many of them started vomiting and complained of nausea.

The affected people, several of them women and children, had to be taken to local health centre and rural hospital but all are now out of danger, doctors said.
