    Breaking: School Van Accident In Margherita, Several Students Injured

    The van with 25 students on-board skidded off-road while on its way from Tirap High School

    Students of Mount Carmel School had a lucky escape on November 8th, 2019 after the school van that they were travelling in met with an accident. The accident occurred on the NH 315 at Jagun of Assam’s Margherita.

    As per reports, the van with 25 students on-board skidded off-road while on its way from Tirap High School. The team went to take part in the Science Exhibition being held at Tirap High School.

    The injured students were evacuated from the bus and were rushed to the Jagun Primary Health Centre. A couple of students have reportedly been referred to the Margherita Civil Hospital for better treatment.

    As per allegations, the van was being driven at high speed and the driver lost control.
