    BREAKING: Second Phase of Assam Assembly Election Notified

    The voters who want to avail Postal Ballot facility for the second phase of the election will have to apply for the postal ballot in Form 12 (D) till March 9

    GUWAHATI:  The notification for the second phase of Assam Assembly Election-2021 has been issued on Friday for 39 numbers of legislative assembly constituencies which will go into the polls on April 1.

    The last date for submission of nomination papers by candidates is March 12 and scrutiny of the nomination papers will be done on March 15. The last date for withdrawal of candidature is March 17.

    The voters who want to avail Postal Ballot facility for the second phase of the election will have to apply for the postal ballot in Form 12 (D) till March 9 next.

    The concern BLO will go to each such voter’s house to distribute and collect Form 12 (D) from them within March 9, 2021.
