Guwahati: The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) announced that a special ‘half yearly’ exam would be held for the students of class IX and X who had failed appear in the exams.
The board also going to organize a special exam for those who have failed in high school leaving certificate (HSLC) and Assam high madrasa (AHM) (special) exams of 2021.
In a notification, SEBA said, “It has come to our notice that some students could not appear for the half yearly examination of classes IX and X held in October, 2021. So, it is notified to all concerned that a special half yearly examination will be conducted by the schools concerned for those students who could not appear the aforementioned examination and for those students who failed in HSLC/AHM (Special) Examination, 2021.”
It added that the process of the special half yearly examination has to be completed within December 15, 2021. “The records of the performance of the students (class wise, of the special half yearly examination have to be entered in the Online Portal of marks entry and have to be kept along with the records of the Half Yearly Examination. Further, it is also notified for the schools concerned that any student of class X, who again does not appear for the Special Half Yearly Examination, should not be allowed for online filling up forms for the ensuing HSLC/AHM, Examination of 2022.”
