    BREAKING: Trader shot in Bongaigaon

    A preliminary investigation said that the businessman identified as Rafiqul Islam was returning home after finishing his work

    GUWAHATI: Trader in lower Assam’s Bongaigaon district was reportedly shot by unknown gunmen on Thursday.

    A preliminary investigation said that the businessman identified as Rafiqul Islam was returning home after finishing his work when a group of armed men shot at him on Patiladaha-Alukhunda road in Kurshamari.

    He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital and reported to be critical.

    Bongaigaon Police suspected it to be a case of a possible robbery attempt but yet to nab any person in connection with case.
