    BTC floor test: Hagrama Mohilary stages protest in BTC session

    A heated situation erupted during the ongoing BTC session as Hagrama Mohilary staged intense protest.

    Guwahati: In a latest update, the Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) led Chief Hagrama Mohilary are carrying out an intense protest at the BTC session held in Kokrajhar on Thursday.

    A heated situation has erupted during the floor test of the BJP-UPPL-GSP BTC’s coalition government challenged by the BPF.

    Heated exchanges are taking place among the parties during the ongoing session.

    The Gauhati High Court on Tuesday ordered a ‘composite’ floor test in BTC in Assam, following a prayer from former BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary challenging the appointment of the new executive council.

    During the composite floor test, Pramod Boro of UPPL and the BPF president Mohilary or someone projected by the party will have to prove majority during voting.
