Guwahati: In a startling incident, four minor girls of the class ninth standard were allegedly abducted by a gang while they were on their way home from tuition in Nagaon’s Dhing on Saturday evening.

The entire incident was caught on camera.

According to police sources, most wanted criminal Moina Ali and his accomplices forcibly grabbed the four students from the road, tied them up and dragged them towards the jute field.

However, proactive locals came to their rescue after the girls started screaming for help.

Meanwhile, the Dhing police reached the spot and are continuing investigations to trace the culprits.

It is learned that most wanted Moina Ali is involved in several criminal cases like murder, rape, theft and robbery.

There are several cases already registered against Moina Ali in Nagaon and Morigaon police stations under various sections.
