“China should be chased out from Arunachal” says Subramanian Swamy
Guwahati: Senior BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy on Thursday commented about the Chinese aggression saying, “China should be chased out from Arunachal Pradesh.”
Addressing the media outside the Gauhati High Court, Swamy also said that instead of being lenient towards China, India should take stern action against them.
The BJP leader has also asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to take strong steps against China and push them back from Arunachal Pradesh.
Subramanian Swamy appeared before the Gauhati High Court today in connection with a case initiated against him in a trial court in Karimganj for allegedly delivering a hate speech in 2015.
At the function held on March 2015, Swamy reportedly said that mosques and churches are mere buildings and can be demolished, following which an FIR was lodged against him.
The high court, however, has reserved the order.
“I’m not in a position to say as the court has reserved the order till next week. I will speak once it’s delivered,” Swamy expressed.
