Speaking to media persons here, the victim said, “Post my dinner at the PG, I was asked to meet my seniors. There were a total of nine seniors in the room. They asked me to drink five litres of  water in 13 seconds and later threatened that they will beat me up, strip my clothes and make a viral video.”

“When I couldn’t take it anymore, I started crying and pleading them to let me go. They pushed me out of the room and threatened to make my life difficult in the college. Wasting no time, I informed my father,” the victim added.

The father of the victim on June 12th, 2019 lodged an FIR in the Nagaon Police Station against the students. The victim hails from Moinabari in Morigaon district of Assam.

The father of the victim said, “This is totally unacceptable and the owner of PG should keep a check on what the students are up to in the night. We are sending our children away from home to face such situations? Hope the culprits are punished at the earliest.”
