Guwahati: Assam minister and Asom Gana Parisad (AGP) president Atul Bora once again has lashed upon the Congress party saying the party is bigger virus than the COVID-19.
The statement was made by the minister on Wednesday during a Jatiya Aikya Samaroh organised by the AGP party in Hailakandi district of Assam.
Coming down heavily on the Congress party, the AGP leader said, “The Congress party is now infected with a virus which is far worse than the Coronavirus. The new virus present among Congress party workers can be termed as ‘Congress Virus’. Badaruddin Ajmal has been spreading the Congress virus using its holy water and the members of the Congress party have been using this holy water of Ajmal as if the water is from the ‘Holy Grail’.”
“However, even this remedy by Ajmal has become futile and instead of curing, the ‘Congress Virus’ has been spreading rapidly among the party members,” he further added.
According to minister Atul Bora, Congress, and the AIUDF party has always considered the minority groups as ‘Third Class Citizens’. The only cure for this problem is to boycott the alliance and the AGP party is always ready to help in creating a caste free society.
Expressing concern and agitation, the minister commented, “Congress party since Independence of India, has used the minority groups as their own ‘vote bank’ or ‘vote ka mamla’ and the All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) party is also following the same.”
The AGP president also said that the agriculture sector, which had been transformed from a mountainous corruption to a contracting department during the tenure of the previous Congress government, is now undergoing a landmark change.
Therefore, unimaginable corruption was rampant in all departments including APSC. For which the pace of development in the Barak Valley had come to a standstill, he added.
