Five parliamentary constituencies of Assam will go to polls in the Second Phase of Lok Sabha elections on April 18th, 2019.

If in the first phase, the spotlight was on Tezpur Lok Sabha seat, in the second phase, Nagaon Lok Sabha seat is creating the buzz. This year, the BJP will have a direct fight with the Congress as the All India United Democratic Front has decided not to contest the seat, giving a heads up for the Congress to woo the minority votes.

Congress leader, Pradyut Bordoloi will fight against BJP candidate, Rupak Sarma for the Lok Sabha seat.
