    Cotton University Poll Results Out: Complete List Here

    A total of 38 students from different courses and streams filed their nominations for different posts in the CUSU elections

    Amidst much tension and anticipation, the results of Cotton University Students’ Union(CUSU) elections were declared on October 3rd, 2019. This year the coveted posts were won by the Independent candidates.

    Out of the 38 candidates for the various posts, Hirakjyoti Patowary won the post of President. Hirakjyoti is a fifth semester student of the History department and Manisha Deka won the post of Vice-President(VP).

    While three of the winning candidates were backed by the All Assam Students Union(AASU), one was supported by Satra Mukti Sangram Samiti(SMSS) and the rest contested independently.

    Assistant General Secretary(AGS):Abhilasha Neog(AASU)
