    COVID-19: 924 new cases detected in Kamrup (M); death toll reaches 323

    More 3,555 cases have been detected on Wednesday out of 47,744 tests done in last 24 hours

    GUWAHATI: More 3,555 cases have been detected on Wednesday out of 47,744 tests done in last 24 hours. Among the cases 923 are from Kamrup (M).

    Out of the total cases, 236 are from Nagaon, 213 from Dibrugarh and 200 from Baksa among others.

    Meanwhile, eight patients have succumbed to the disease taking the death toll to 323, as health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted.

    However, 1,834 patients were discharged on Wednesday taking the count of total discharged patients to 88,726.

    The positivity rate of the state stands at 7.44%.

    The state’s overall COVID record stands at 1,15,279 total cases, 86,892 recovered cases and 28,061 active cases.
