Baby Doll fame Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor is likely to be interrogated by Lucknow police on April 20th, 2020, once the 14-day period of self-quarantine ends.
Kapoor had been booked by Uttar Pradesh Police on March 20th, 2020, for hiding her travel history and attending lavish parties after returning from London on March 9th, 2020.
The FIR was lodged by Lucknow Chief Medical Officer.
The singer was charged under IPC Section 269 (negligent act likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life) and Section 270 (malignant act likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life).
The singer was discharged from the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences on April 6th, 2020 after her two test reports came negative.
Kapoor tested positive on March 20th, 2020. She reportedly attended at least three gatherings in Lucknow after returning from London, including a party where political leaders were present.
