    COVID-19: Tripura introduces helpline numbers for 45+ people to register for vaccine

    Tripura government introduced district wise helpline number for 45+ people who do not have access to internet to register for covid vaccination.

    Agartala: Tripura government has introduced district wise helpline number for the age group of above 45 years who do not have access to the Internet to register for the covid vaccination.

    In a notification, the Director of National Health Mission of Tripura, Dr Siddharth Shiv Jaiswal said, “For facilitation of registration & appointment booking for COVID-19 vaccination & Co-WIN portal especially persons in the 45+ age category and who do not have access to internet following number at District level will be functional as District helpline number or COVID-19 vaccination”.

    Later, chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb on twitter wrote, “For those who do not have access to the Internet, the state government has introduced an alternative method of vaccination, especially for those over 45 years of age. Eight helpline numbers have been launched in eight districts of the state. Those who have not yet been vaccinated can register by calling this number”.
