Guwahati: In a horrific incident, a massive fire had broken out in Guwahati’s Bhangagarh area on Saturday.
The incident took place at the shop located under the Bhangagarh flyover.
According to sources, the fire had occurred as a result of the cylinder blast.
The fire also spread to two neighboring shops.
Over lakhs of properties were destroyed in the fire, sources said.
Meanwhile, fire tenders reached the spot and managed to douse the inferno.
However, no casualties or injuries have been reported. The smoke that has engulfed the area, and the fire have also hampered the movement of vehicles.
