Declared Foreigner Dies In GMCH In Assam

Guwahati, July 16, 2019

A declared foreigner, who has been languishing more than three harsh years in the Tezpur detention centre, died in Gauhati Medical College and Hospital on July 16th, 2019.

The person – Kudduch Ali hailed from Bihpuria in Assam’s Lakhimpur.

A tribunal had declared him a foreigner in 2016. Thereafter, he was in Tezpur detention centre.

The family members of the deceased demanded that he was an origin Indian citizen. “He was declared foreigner even after he had all the sufficient documents to prove his citizenship.”

“We have become tired of all these things. We spent money, time energy and finally Kaddus Ali,” one of the family members said.
