Police sources said that an operation was laid to trap Didi and her accomplishment following the investigation of a previous seizure of 723 grams of heroin at Barpather in Golaghat district.

“The accused during the interrogation revealed that a lady known as ‘Didi’ residing in Dimapur was the main dealer who supplied the heroin. However, no contact information was revealed by them. Then police engaged sources to go Dimapur to find out who is Didi,” said police sources.

A set up was laid to purchase high quality drugs from her.
