    Donald Trump Blames China For COVID-19 Spread, Says US Will Seek Damages

    Donald Trump mentioned that his administration was conducting "serious investigations" into what happened into Beijing’s handling of the highly contagious outbreak

    US President Donald Trump blamed China and said the country could have stopped the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) before it swept the globe.

    Trump also mentioned that his administration was conducting “serious investigations” into what happened into Beijing’s handling of the highly contagious outbreak and suggested he would seek damages for the US.

    Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump said, “We are not happy with China…We’re doing very serious investigations. There are a lot of ways you can hold them accountable.”

    He added, “We believe it (COVID-19) could have been stopped at the source quickly and it wouldn’t have spread all over the world.”
