Agartala, December 30: In a bid to provide quality education in secondary level, Education Minister of Tripura Tapan Chakraborty on Friday inaugurated the E-content and E-classroom at Kamini Kumar Singha Memorial Higher Secondary School in Agartala along with the newly constructed three storied building of the school.
Under the Rashtriya Madhyamik Siksha Abhiyan (RMSS) the initiative has been taken to give quality education by using modern technology, especially for the 58 schools of 9 blocks of the state which are lagging behind from education. In this process, Agartala Doordarshan Kendra will telecast the E-content made by the experienced teachers of the state on various subjects. Besides this the E-contents will be also available in the websites of RMSS and School Education department. The educators and students can also watch these e-contents on Youtube and Facebook page.
Speaking on the occasion Education Minister of the state said that a total 56 schools around the state were provided with imperative improvements due to the excessive vision of the government regarding education policies and the impact is observable in the board results of the students which also primly dependent on the labour fabricated by the responsible teachers of the state.
The programme was also attended by Local MLA Gopal Roy, Mayor of Agartala Municipal Council Prafullajit Sinha, Head of Office of Agartala Doordarshan Kendra U.K Sahu and other distinguished guests.
