Guwahati: An earthquake of magnitude 4.4 on the Richter scale struck Assam’s Sonitpur, informed National Center for Seismology.

The earthquake hit Assam at 08:03 am on Monday.

According to the NCS, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 15 Km.

However, no damage to property or casualties have been reported.
