Guwahati: The health condition of former chief minister of Assam Bhumidhar Barman was reported critical due to prolong illness for the last 20 days.
He was reportedly admitted to Guwahati’s Dispur Hospital after developing serious complications in his body.
Speaking to TIME8 in this regard, Chairperson, Media Department, APCC, Bobbeeta Sharma said, “Visited veteran Congress leader Ex-CM Bhumidhar Barman in Dispur Hospital along with APCC President Ripun Bora. Barman has responded to people talking to him and is fine although he is in ICU. We wish him speedy recovery.”
Presently, the former Chief Minister is operated at Dispur Hospital under the supervision of Dr Sohidul Alom Choudhury.
