    Ferry service between Guwahati-North Guwahati Resumes

    On Monday, the Brahmaputra water level in the city was recorded at 48.84 m against the danger level of 49.63 m

    Guwahati: With flood situation improving and water level receding, ferry service between the two banks of Guwahati-North Guwahati ferry service has resumed from Monday.

    The ferry services from Guwahati to North Guwahati remained suspended from June 22 due to the rising water level in the Brahmaputra.

    In a statement issued by the Inland Water Transport department (IWT) said that only passengers will be able to travel in the ferry with proper social distancing and masks.

    On Monday, the Brahmaputra water level in the city was recorded at 48.84 m against the danger level of 49.63 m. The falling trend of water level was also recorded.
