    FIR Against Hate Post On Sarbananda Sonowal At Dispur

    The complainant, Advocate Benudhar Nath has urged the police to look into the matter and take action after appropriate inquiry

    An FIR has been registered at the Dispur Police Station against a Facebook(FB) user for allegedly sharing a hate post against Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal.

    According to the FIR, the FB user which goes by the name Surajit Harsh had uploaded an ‘objectionable’ post against CM Sonowal which read that “Sonowal is a curse to Assam” and threatened to “shoot him if he had a gun”.

    “The said post is not acceptable in any civilized society and also show hate against the religious belief towards the holy cow which is worshipped by the Hindu community,” the FIR read. The post was shared along with a photograph of Sonowal addressing him as a “broker”.

    Meanwhile, the complainant, Advocate Benudhar Nath have urged the police to look into the matter and take action after appropriate inquiry.
