Former CM Tarun Gogoi out of danger: GMCH officials

GMCH officials said that Gogoi’s health condition has improved to some extend and he has been removed from the non-invasive ventilator.

Guwahati: Former Assam chief minister Tarun Gogoi is out of danger now, informs Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) officials on Tuesday.

They said that Gogoi’s health condition has improved to some extend and he has been removed from the non-invasive ventilator (NIV).

The 85-year-old politician complained of uneasiness on Sunday night, after which he was shifted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of GMCH.

The three-time chief minister, Gogoi was discharged from the hospital on October 25 after he recovered from the COVID-19 infection and other post-recovery complications after 60 days.
