There is an Illegal nexus operating in the Dhubri district. Several politicians, police personnel and journalists are part of this nexus. I have already written about this to the prime minister during my tenure as MP of Mangaldia Lok Sabha constituency. Soon I will be giving a press conference in this regard.”
It is to be noted that Nagaon SP Anand Mishra had who won the hearts of people in Dhubri during his tenure as SP in the district. He is a 2011 batch IPS officer and has been one of the most famous Superintendent of police officers in Assam.

Meanwhile, reacting to former BJP MP Ramen Deka’s statement, Nagaon SP Anand Mishra told TIME8 exclusively, “This allegation or statement doesn’t even merit any reaction from my side. These kinds of people are actually engaged in wrongdoings. They are engaged in overpowering a person who is fighting against the crime in the district. This is a cheap publicity stunt. They are jealous of my popularity and making me more proper now by making such statements.”
