His statement came after the Congress’ Mariani legislature Rupjyoti Kurmi’s announcement on July 4th, 2019, about his possible joining in the ruling saffron party.

“They (leaders from other parties who joined BJP) are planning to get the ownership in good days of the BJP,” Gohain said. He also added that the BJP activists, who have sacrificed their lives for the party, are disappointed with the new BJP leaders’ attitude in the party. “We won’t tolerate any kind of dominance of outsiders,” he added.
