    Four COVID-19 Positive Cases Detected In Guwahati, Assam Tally Climbs To 53

    Assam now has 18 active positive COVID-19 cases

    Four more persons in Guwahati have been tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) on Thursday.

    As per Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma’s tweet, One of them have come from outside Assam, and is in home quarantine, while the other 3 are from Guwahati.

    The Total number of COVID-19 cases in Assam now stands at 53 with 18 active cases. There were 34 discharged already and one death.

    As per the health minister, the rate in Assam related to the virus is just 2.22 per cent.

    Earlier four others were detected positive with a travel history to Rajasthan.

    The details of the newly detected cases are yet to be announced officially.
