    Four from Assam crack UPSC

    A total of 829 candidates have been selected for various Civil Services through the 2019 edition of the exam. Pradeep Singh has topped the exam

    Guwahati: At least four candidates from Assam cleared the UPSC mains examination 2019. They are Aranyak Saikia, Tapan Deka, Nibedita Dutta, and Kishore Sutradhar.

    Civil Services exam 2019 results have been announced by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

    Aranyak, son of former DGP Kuladhar Saikia, secured 59 position. He has cracked the examination for the third time and is presently serving as an IPS officer in the Karnataka Cadre.

    The other three successful candidates were Tapan Deka ranked 766 position.  Nibedita secured 697 position and Kishore ranked 784.

    A total of 829 candidates have been selected to various Civil Services through the 2019 edition of the exam. Pradeep Singh has topped the exam.

    The final result is available on the official website of UPSC.

    The UPSC has declared the final list of selected candidates based on the result of the written part of Civil Services Examination, 2019 held in September 2019 and the interviews or Personality Test held in February-August, 2020.
