    Four Guwahati-Bound Women Vendors Killed In Boko Road Accident, Several Injured

    Three women along with the driver are struggling for life at the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital

    Four women were killed and four others sustained grievous injuries in a ghastly head-on crash in Boko. The accident occurred at Bamunigaon of Boko town in Assam’s Kamrup district in the wee hours of October 21st, 2019.

    The accident occurred as a dumper truck and a Tata Ace mini-truck coming from opposite directions collided head-on on National Highway 17. Under the impact of the collision, the on-board passengers fell off the mini-truck.

    The deceased women have been identified as Minati Rabha (55), Reena Rabha (40), Putuli Rabha (50) and Sushila Rabha (60). They were residents of Roumari and Sukuniapar. On the other hand, the injured persons have been identified as Manoj Rabha, Rita Rabha, Parul Rabha and Jugati Rabha.

    As per reports, the group of women were travelling towards Guwahati to sell their produce (vegetables) when the accident occurred. While four women died on the spot, four others including the driver are battling for life at the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital.
