    ‘God of cricket’ Sachin Tendulkar tests positive for COVID-19, goes into home quarantine

    Fans wish Sachin Tendulkar a speedy recovery from the virus

    Guwahati: The god of cricket Sachin Tendulkar has been tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday morning and had developed mild symptoms.

    Tendulkar has presently decided to quarantine himself at home as recommended by his doctors.

    Sachin also revealed that all his family members with him have tested negative and are taking proper care.

    Informing about his health condition, Tendulkar took to Twitter saying, “I have been testing myself and taking all the recommended precautions to ensure COVID is kept at Bay. However, I have tested positive today following mild symptoms. All others at home have tested negative. I have quarantine myself at home and am following all the necessary protocols as advised by my doctors.”

    Tendulkar also thanked all the healthcare professionals for their constant support.

    Meanwhile, fans of Sachin Tendulkar had wished for his speedy recovery.

    It is to be noted that Sachin Tendulkar was the captain of the India Legends team which recently won the Road Safety World Series in Raipur after beating Sri Lanka Legends in the finals of the tournament.
